Q. Where did the two of you first meet?
Matsukura: I think it was at the Osaka show of “Johnny’s Future WORLD” (2016). He greeted me with a bright smile “Good Morning!” and looked like a puppy, so I thought he was a cute kid. I feel like he looks at me like he wants to ask me for something (laughs). That’s also really cute.
Shimasaki: We spoke a little when we first met at the Osaka show of “Johnny’s Future WORLD”. His eyes wrinkle when he smiles so I thought he seems like a nice person. Till now I haven’t spoken much to him so I still describe him as someone who “seems nice”, but I’m sure he’s definitely a nice person.
Q. I’d bring him to this place if we were to hang out in my hometown!
Matsukura: If it’s up to me, Disneyland. I’d like to look at Toa looking with shining eyes at the dolls in “It’s a small world”. I’m totally a parent (laughs). We’d look for all the characters all over the park and I’d take photos for him. I’ll work hard!
Shimasaki: After we go to Universal Studios Japan, how about we eat while walking around? I’ve never been, but there’s a roasted sweet potato shop in Namba. We should eat some delicious roasted sweet potatoes together. I also want to show him our home, Osaka Shochikuza Theatre so we’ll travel to Shinsaibashi after!
Q. A Tokyo/Kansai Jr. you would like to introduce to the other.
Matsukura: Kubo Ren. Although they’re the same age, I don’t think they’ve spoken. I just want to see them talking ~ Toa has a responsible image, while Kubo Ren is more mischievous. They seem like they wouldn’t be able to hold a proper conversation, so it would be interesting. If the two of them are up to it, I’d like to bring both of them to Disneyland.
Shimasaki: I have the image of him liking small kids, so Boys Be’s Maruoka (Kosei)-kun. Maruchan is lovable, and a good kid. Also, my oshi (Iwakura) Tsukasa. Both Maruchan and Tsukasa will definitely be healing! Please introduce some good kids from Tokyo to me!
Message to Toa:
Thank you for saying that I seem like a nice person. I wonder if you’ll feel that way after getting to know me... (laughs) We haven’t talked much, right? If we have, I’m sorry but please do let me know. The photo on this page will probably look really fresh. I’m looking forward to it!

I still can’t forget your wrinkled smile from four winters ago. I’ve tried searching for another person who smiles that way, but for me no one else comes to mind but you. You’re a one and only presence to me. Please continue to laugh from now on.
